Are praying mantis cool, or what! What an art form nature has created. Some female mantis even cannibalize their lovers! Wow, is that kinky! While fly fishing on the Bighorn River in Montana last summer, a praying mantis flew up and landed on my hand. Thus inspired.

Praying mantis occur in many colors, but the most common is a brilliant green. The patina on this piece, captures that color with black veining, and highlights of orange and polished bronze. It’s a spectacular sculpture.
