A male mule deer in his prime is a magnificent animal. Deer are generally considered fragile animals, but there is nothing fragile about a huge buck mule deer. They inhabit the western US and are named for their large “mule like” ears.
This piece is finished in a beautiful bronze patina, which captures the colors of both the deer and its natural environment. It is a rich looking translucent brown with black and cream highlights.
